TV Star Pavitra Jayaram Dies In a Car Accident in Hyderabad, Family Members Badly Injured

TV actress Pavitra Jayaram passed away on Sunday after a bus collided with her car in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Popular TV actress Pavitra Jayaram died on Sunday after a tragic car accident. Pavitra, best known for her show Trinayani, died in Hyderabad after a bus rammed into her car. She was travelling with her sister, Apeksha, driver Srikant and actor Chandrakant. The news of her death has sent shockwaves across the TV industry.

Multiple news outlets reported the accident took place near Mehboob Nagar in Hyderabad. It is said that Pavitra was returning to Hanakere in Mandya district of Karnataka when the tragic accident took place. According to IANS, the actress’s car lost control and hit a divider. A bus reportedly collided with the right side of the car. Pavitra died on the spot while her fellow passengers are said to be seriously injured.

Actor Sameeip Acharyaa took to his social media account to offer his condolences to her family and fans. He wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”

Many took to the comments section of her Instagram posts and mourned her sudden demise. “Rest in peace madam,” a comment read. “Rest in peace akka miss you ,” added another. “RIP mam on of the beautiful actress left us so sad ,” a third comment read.
Pavitra carved her space in the Telugu and Kannada entertainment industries. She starred in projects such as ‘Tillottama’ and Telugu serial ‘Trinayani’.
In Trinayani, Pavitra shared the screen with Aashika Gopal Padukone, Chandu Gowda, Sri Satya, Priyanka Chowdary, Vishnu Priya, Bhavana Reddy, Anil Chowdary and Challa Chandu. She was also seen Bucchi Naidu Kandriga with Drishika Chander, Munna, Ravi Varma and Ravi Varma Adduri among others.
